Hello, world — and welcome aboard!

This blog marks the beginning of a journey I’ve long dreamt of taking. Like setting sail from a familiar shore, it’s both exciting and a little uncertain, but that’s what makes it meaningful. Here, I’ll be sharing glimpses of life as a student, a cancer survivor, and someone continuously anchored in resilience while sailing toward new horizons.

About 2 years ago, I learned what it truly meant to fight through storms. Cancer changed my world — not just through the challenges of treatment, but through the extraordinary people I met and the strength I never knew I had. Recovery wasn’t the end of that story; it was the start of a new mission. From founding and leading the American Cancer Society Youth Ambassadors Club at my school to performing at the Make-A-Wish Annual Gala, advocating as a Hyundai Hope On Wheels patient advocate, and exploring cancer research through UCI COSMOS, I’ve come to believe that resilience can ripple outward — inspiring others just as others once inspired me.

This space will be a blend of reflection and discovery: stories of advocacy, science, creativity, and everyday wonder. Think of it as a tide that carries pieces of my world — my projects, my experiences, and the lessons I’m learning along the way — to anyone who might need a bit of light in their own waters.
